Initial works focused on a redesigned stern arrangement, a full repaint and a series of technical upgrades. The HVAC system was completely replaced, including new chillers, air handling units and fan coils.&nbsp;Guest and crew areas were also refreshed, including refurbished staterooms, restored marble surfaces, new blinds and updated interior finishes throughout. On deck, new teak was laid across most exterior areas. Key running gear was serviced and overhauled, including steering, shafts, bow thruster and rudders. Cold storage systems were renewed, diving equipment improved, tanks and technical rooms repainted, and her underwater hull coating fully redone after sandblasting.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/396850/image/large-75c81ae7c7f8ec276ac58002cfd81609.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/396850">The works carried out in her engine room and technical spaces were also substantial. This included water production, ventilation, tank systems, sewage treatment, heating, freshwater distribution and fuel handling. For owner Paul Andrews, the search for the right yacht was a journey that spanned more than a decade. By chance I also discovered a local boat carpenter whose family had been building boats in the region for generations. These include maximum payouts per incident for tenders, crew medical limits per person, and differing deductibles for machinery damage versus navigational incidents. Such details are typically scattered throughout the policy and are easily missed.It also struggles to recognise requirements for minimum underlying covers, such as mandatory national healthcare or other primary insurance arrangements. These elements can be critical to the validity and effectiveness of the coverage, yet are rarely identified without expert review.4. What is NOT included remains invisibleChatGPT can only compare what is written. It cannot identify what is missing. No cyber clause? AI will not flag it, because there is nothing to read. A specialist, however, knows what should be there and recognises the gap immediately.It also lacks the ability to properly assess how coverage is structured. Adding to the island’s menacing feel are the many abandoned sites and ruins that make up its intriguing history. Whalers Bay, once a bustling hub at the height of the whaling industry, is today the ruinous final resting place of some of Antarctica’s most significant whaling artefacts.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/269870/image/large-a7e0370f505d2fa8b67abae0e2164450.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/269870">Though most of Antarctica is isolated, the Vernadsky Research Centre has a strong life force.
