We take a look at the latest magazines, books and other yacht publications. This month; Boat International, The Yacht Report, Showboats, Yacht Magazine (De Valk) and The Lone Ranger Story.
Magazines:
In the February issue (#247) of Boat International; reviews of the new Sunseeker 90 and the Technema 85. Onboard article of the Heesen 3700 G-Force, Royal Huisman’s Gliss and Zulu from Fitzroy yachts. Like last year also a list of the 100 biggest yachts of the world.
The January issue of The Yacht Report is their special Annual Report. This includes the 12 best yachts of 2006, the 12 best products of 2006 and off course the Global Build Report.
The December/January issue of Showboats brings us in-depth interviews with the people behind the Maltese Falcon. Reviews on the Burger Mirgab V and the CRN GiVi and like every year the Global Order Book.
Next to the regular magazines we also received a copy of the Yacht Magazine of De Valk Yacht Brokers. In their first issue of 2007 they talk about chartering and have an article on Holland Jachtbouw.
Books:
John Julian was kind enough to send us his latest book, The Lone Ranger Story. A beautiful book about the history and adventures of the 77m (253ft) converted tug Lone Ranger.
