The UAE-based boat builder Gulf Craft has announced the successful delivery of two of its Majesty 100 superyachts: the 31.68-metre Harmony and Isla. Now en-route to Europe in preparation for handover to their owner's representatives in Italy, the superyachts will cruise around the Mediterranean for their maiden summer season.
Taking into account the travel restrictions resulting from the current global pandemic, the shipyard implemented a virtual handover procedure, allowing the crew to review the onboard systems alongside shipyard experts and officials prior to delivery. The all-GRP Majesty 100 model features in-house interior and exterior design, with notable features including folding balconies on both sides of the aft cockpit, floor-to-ceiling windows in the main deck saloon, and an upper-deck sky lounge offering panoramic views. On board, the vessels accommodate up to 10 guests in a main-deck owner's suite and four additional staterooms located on the lower deck, as well as a crew of five.
Nizar Tagi, Chief Commercial Officer at Gulf Craft, commented on the dual delivery: “The Majesty 100 has been the shipyard’s star since its launch in 2017. Being an entry superyacht of the Majesty Yachts brand, the Majesty 100 has quickly achieved international success with deliveries made to Europe, Australia, Middle East, Africa, and America. The model provides supreme luxury and comfort with class-leading space utilization. We are also very excited to have multiple ongoing discussions with prospective clients for future sales of this model.”The eighth Majesty 100, Harmony was sold to experienced Russian owners in spring last year, with Jonacor Marine, Gulf Craft’s distributor in Russia and Ukraine, acting as the owners’ representative during the build period until delivery.
Alexey Iova, Development Director at Jonacor Marine said: “Our experience in the industry spans over decades of yacht and boat building. Having worked with many international yacht brands, the Majesty 100 offers a multitude of unique features that are unprecedented for a yacht of this size. We have noticed a growing interest from our clientele towards this superyacht, having sold three already. The ninth Majesty 100 superyacht, Isla has been purchased by a first-time yacht owner who is nevertheless a "serial charter aficionado" according to the shipyard. The sale of the vessel was concluded directly with the shipyard, with the owner taking a highly engaged approach to the entire build process. Photo: Gulf Craft Inc.
