Málaga has a new superyacht marina. The marina has a 33-berth capacity and can welcome superyachts up to 180-metres in length. 
The new marina is expected to generate €104m annually and create 800 new jobs. It is also believed that the marina will help “de-seasonalise” tourism, as many superyacht owners looking to use the facilities are likely to come during the fourth quarter, and at the tail end of the summer holiday season.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place Friday 15 July 2022.
