Malta’s Superyacht Industry seminar off to a flying start

Organisers of Yachting in Malta’s seminar report an extremely positive response, locally and internationally based on reservations already committed. Titled Yachting in Malta: the Way Forward, this year’s event focuses on how Malta is meeting demanding requirements to become an internationally recognised centre of superyacht excellence.

“This is really encouraging, naturally we expected local stakeholders and we certainly have not been disappointed,” said Wilfred Sultana, host of seminar, “But, as importantly, there has been a great response from outside Malta including international journalists who are taking this very seriously.”

Captains of superyachts currently in Malta have also confirmed their attendance as well as yachting journalists, Angelo Colombo, Nautica Superyacht (Italy), Leonieke Stolk, SuperYacht Industry (Netherlands), Karen Leggett, Yachting Matters (UK), and David Robinson, Superyacht Business (UK). Boat International, Showboats and Dockwalk will also be represented.

Organised by Wilfred Sultana & Associates, publishers of ‘Yachting in Malta’, in collaboration with Transport Malta and the International Superyacht Society with the Mediterranean Bank, S&D Yachts Ltd, Medcomms Ltd, Melita Marine Group, Kirton & Co Ltd, Palumbo MSY and The Palace Hotel are also associate partners.
