Getting ready for her world debut is the first 33.3-metre Mangusta GranSport 33 superyacht, Perfect Lady. Having just arrived in the Sunshine State for the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, the new yacht is set to wow the crowds with the technically-advanced design work of Alberto Mancini and Overmarine Group. Here are the top three features to keep an eye out for:Photo: Mangusta YachtsSporty style
Exuding bold exterior lines, Perfect Lady has a confident personality and a sporty nature. Complemented by a comfortable performance package, her four quiet Volvo IPS engines function with low vibrations and a dynamic positioning system for excellent manoeuvrability.
Another stylish technical solution incorporated into the design is the low 1.9-metre draft that allows her American owner to take her into the shallow waters of The Bahamas and the Hamptons to speeds of up to 26 knots. Photo: Mangusta YachtsPhoto: Mangusta YachtsFunctional interior layout
The yacht’s main purpose is to provide well-thought-out spaces that are both functional and chic – something that is a real hallmark of the Mangusta brand. Overmarine Group’s Interiors Department has worked side by side with the designer Mancini and the owner to select the perfect furniture, furnishings and décor. The final outcome is a 228 GT superyacht brimming with style with a cleverly-merged exterior and interior.
When first stepping on board Perfect Lady, guests enter the large cockpit area with welcoming communal features such as a dining table and bar. Further inside, the main deck comprises an airy saloon brightened by ceiling-high windows – two of which can be opened for natural ventilation. The galley is positioned adjacent to the saloon for fast and easy service thanks to the yacht’s experienced crew of five.
Flexible design options
Purposefully designed to be comfortable and bright is the 40-square-metre master cabin, located on the main deck at the bow. The four additional staterooms take over the entire lower deck and can be arranged in different layouts, depending on the owner’s taste.
The owner can also decide on an open or enclosed flybridge, which at 56-square-metres, offers guests a social hotspot for anything from blissful relaxation or night-to-dawn partying. Perfect Lady sports an enclosed flybridge, meaning that those on board are treated to a real sky lounge experience with an indoor TV room, a connected outdoor sunbathing area and a Jacuzzi with bar. From the flybridge, guests can move to the bow where a pool with a hydromassage function is lined with sun loungers.
Another fun decision for the owner to make is how to fill the 28-square-metre garage. With space to fit a 5.65-metre tender and two water-skis, the garage’s storage capacity is one of the best in its class. The aft platform can even be extended to become another area to relax by the sea.Photo: Mangusta YachtsPhoto: Mangusta YachtsTo find out more about Perfect Lady and her global debut, visit her at the Purple Zone, Face Dock 18A at FLIBS this week, or contact the Overmaine Group directly via the information found below.
