Mangusta range expands with new Oceano 55

With the Oceano 55, Overmarine have created a seagoing platform with exceptionally large guest spaces for a 50m yacht, while retaining the intimacy one experiences on board a smaller vessel. The key words to describe Alberto Mancini's design are space and light, with open exterior decks offering endless views, and a clutter free interior that continues the same theme.

The yacht’s sundeck is rather unique, presenting a space of 160m2 covered by a large hardtop structure and surrounded by low side structures that have been fitted with glass railings. Forward on the bow is another open relaxing area with comfortable seating and a 5mx5m swimming pool with an infinity waterfall feature.

The stern has three openings that allows for great visibility from every corner of the beach club. With the central hatch and two side balconies opened, the beach club size increases to an impressive 70m2. Mancini styled the interior with great attention being paid to the selection of high quality fabrics. Spaces have been decorated using contrasting colours and textures.

The Oceano 55 will be driven by twin MTU 12V 4000 M73 engines, giving her a cruising speed of 12 knots, which in turn will allow for a range of 5000nm. A top speed of 17.5 knots is also available from the same power plant.
