Speaking of the philosophy behind the concept Casali says, “The Ribot 85 concept takes the name from one of the most famous gallop horses in the world. Looking on superyacht designs I found often that some of the most important projects have great power, big masses but less grace, and this is why I turned to the figure of the horse; fast powerful but with infinite grace. For obtaining this my first work was on the typical masses distribution of a yacht, reduced on the aft for the top decks but still full on the lower ones for lowering the “design barycenter”. This also offered me the opportunity to create the wide open spaces I was searching for in the upper deck where I placed the first big pool in the common sun area.”

In addition to power and grace, the second focus of the Ribot 85 was privacy for the owner and his guests. This has been achieved with a full owner dedicated upper deck, with the option of another one or two VIP cabins in the same space or other personal spaces such as a massage room or second office. The owner’s deck comes with two terraces in the bow and the aft, and features two small Jacuzzi pools.

Remaining guest accommodation is found on the main deck, with each cabin including a private terrace. A crew of 22 are also accommodated for on board.

Elsewhere, the yacht comes with a range of additional amenities such as a lounge bar on the sky deck, as well as a gym. The garage also has the ability to host a 35’ limousine tender.
