Marina Port Vell sees accelerating berth sales

Marina Port Vell (MPV) located in Barcelona, Spain, has announced the sale of four berths recently, ranging from 25 to 70 metres in length. The sales quickly followed the formal opening of the new marina at the end of last year.

MPV General Manager, Paul Cook, comments, “These sales are illustrative of a significant increase in interest in our marina since we largely completed its transformation into a leading superyacht facility at the end of 2014. We continue to experience a healthy pipeline of enquiries across the berth spectrum from the smaller sizes to over 160 meters.”

Amongst the facilities available at the marina is the OneOcean club, a private members fine dining restaurant and cocktail lounge with a range of additional amenities, including a wellness centre, gymnasium and crew lounge, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology and in full compliance of the International Ship and Security Code (ISPS).

Barcelona itself is a hub of maritime activity with yachting destinations such as Porto Cervo, the Balearic Islands and St. Tropez just a day’s sailing away, and is one of the most vibrant and diverse cities across the Mediterranean. MPV offers 148 berths in total catering to vessels up to 190 metres.
