The location at La Ciotat boasts a comprehensive facility for superyachts, including a 2000 tonne Yacht Lift, a 300 tonne Travel Lift and a 300m x 60m dry dock. The establishment of the Marine Results rigging service at La Ciotat provides a valuable addition to the range of services already available.

Marine Results will be offering all its existing services including full mast service, rigging, hydraulics, rope work, certified lift equipment, mooring systems and height access equipment. With the addition of a 500 tonne OYS heading press Marine Results is now the area’s official OYS agent, capable of carrying out heading of rods up to -430 (44.45mm dia.).

Marine Results’ personnel are also qualified to carry out a range of Non Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques including Ultra-Sonic in composite core and monolithic structures and Dye Penetrant inspections of metallic components.

Marine Results, whose headquarters are in Hamble, UK, joins La Ciotat’s other marine service outlets as an independent rigging company. The company will continue to service rigging in situ at locations on a worldwide basis, as required. The team has just finished an annual service of the world’s tallest mast, that of Mirabella V, a follow-up to a full 5-year OYS recommended service of the standing rigging that the company undertook a year ago in La Ciotat.

Marine Results has worked on several significant projects recently including the conditional survey of the 88m Maltese Falcon. Other recent and ongoing commissions include work on Hyperion, La Cattiva, Moonbird, Drumbeat, Antara and Salute, as well as the CW44s (12m) and numerous other racing and cruising superyacht rigs.
