Established superyacht exhaust and engineering installation company Marquip, has long since been involved in the sponsorship of charitable organisations and events. Their latest involvement included the support of two major cancer charity events.The first of which was an ascent of the Alpe d’Huez, either cycling, hiking or running, in the name of cancer research. The company sponsored one of the teams, the CS Walcheren-van de Perre d’Hu6 team, which raised an impressive €27,500. The funds raised by all competing teams were donated to the promotion and support of scientific research into cancer in all its forms.The second major event supported by Marquip is the 2015 Maritime Charity golf event, held in aid of the KiKa charity. By getting involved in the event, Marquip hopes that the year’s fundraising surpasses the €13,000 which was raised in 2014.
