Spanish superyacht refitting group MB92 has released a damning report on the need for serious change to the yachting industries approach to sustainability. In this first report from the company, the analysis layouts out the challenges that the industry faces in becoming more sustainable, but firmly reports that time is running out for a change to be made. Among the conclusions made by the report, which covers key topics from propulsion to life cycle assessment, are that the next 10 years will be crucial for the survival of the world's oceans, and that the superyacht sector must learn from other industries for more sustainable innovations.
