News from Auckland this morning is the launch of New Zealand shipyard McMullen & Wing’s 50 metre explorer superyacht Y/N 1016. Their largest yacht to date is designed by Gregory Marshall and continues the distinctive muscular and purposeful appearance as the first yacht in the Diamond Series, the 45 metre Big Fish.
An ice blue hull and bright yellow boot stripe at the waterline is sure to make this new yacht instantly recognizable. Built for extended periods at sea and able to cover great distances, the 50 metre superyacht boasts a range of 6000 nm with exceptional storage space on board.
The yacht will now remain at the shipyard’s facilities where she will be outfitted and undergo intensive sea trials.
