MCP Yachts starts construction on new 28m motor yacht

Written by Charl van Rooy

As one of the most active yacht builders in South America, Brazilian shipyard MCP Yachts have announced the start of construction on a new 92.5-foot Raised Pilothouse motor yacht. MCP Yachts set out to create a timeless and elegant yacht that will offer exceptional sea keeping capabilities and long range features that will accommodate the commercial facilities of the South-American coastline.

Interior volume has been maximised by limiting side and foredeck spaces to a minimum. This yacht is all about interior comfort and safety. Various layout options can accommodate up to six large guest cabins with the master suite on main deck and a VIP suite in the bow area on lower deck together with four additional guest cabins. Crew accommodations are located in the aft section of the yacht with direct access to the engine room.

A good sized sundeck offers a central steering position, an informal dining experience for the entire family, and a open aft area where the tender is stowed.

Also currently in build at MCP Yachts is the shipyard’s high-performance 30.5-metre sailing yacht project, Silver Bullet that is on schedule to be completed next year.
