The 5th edition of the Mediterranean Yacht Show is taking place this week in the Greek town of Nafplion. From 28 April to 1 May 2018 one of the region’s largest yachting events will once again attract some of the finest charter yachts operating in and around Greek waters ahead of another busy upcoming summer cruising season in the Mediterranean.Photo: MEDYSOrganised by the Greek Yachting Association, the event aims to strengthen charter possibilities in the region by promoting the beautiful scenery the Greek coastline has to offer along with the facilities available to charter yachts and guests while making the most of its largely pristine and untouched cruising grounds.Photo: MEDYSThis year’s charter fleet will consist of nearly 90 vessels ranging from small day-cruisers to ultra luxurious pedigree superyachts such as the 59-metre Capri, 50-metre Ouranos and 42-metre Ability.Photo: MEDYSIn addition to the exciting line up of yachts, visitors and crew have the annual Chef’s Competition to look forward to as well. The event brings together some of the region’s top yacht chefs to battle it out in the galley in front of a star-studded panel of judges.
