Turkish shipyard Mengi Yay, working closely with Leomar Yachts, has recently launched superyacht project NB89, now named Pennon. Measuring 36.5 metres in length, the yacht is constructed with a wooden hull and superstructure, she features naval architecture and exterior design by the Dutch company Ginton Naval Architects.<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/42TuuhFTriw" width="560"></iframe>She accommodates up to 10 guests over five luxurious cabins, including a large master suite complete with large windows. Elsewhere inside, the saloon also boasts generous spaces whilst a substantial area is allocated for the kitchen on the main deck. Produced by UK-based Insensys, the system is based on three rotating carbon fibre masts capable of deploying up to 2,396 square-metres of sail.
