Merrill-Stevens opens Mexico City office

Merrill-Stevens is proud to announce the opening of a new office in Mexico City to provide and coordinate a full range of yacht services.

The new office will be headed by Jose Arana Sr. and his son, Jose Arana Jr. The team has 15 years of experience in the yacht brokerage business and knowledge of the Central American yachting market.

"Mexico City is a center for Central American wealth. It reflects our interest in reaching one of the international markets we have targeted for development," said Whit Kirtland, president of Merrill-Stevens' Brokerage Division.

In addition to its Miami River shipyard, Merrill-Stevens has other offices in Fort Lauderdale, Palma de Mallorca, San Diego, and Singapore. Merrill-Stevens services include: yacht sales, charter brokerage, fleet management, crew placement and running a full-service shipyard.
