METS 2007 floorspace sold out

METS 2007 has enjoyed a record sell-out. With three months still to go, all exhibition space has been allocated to new and long term exhibitors and a waiting list has been drawn up. Over 1,100 exhibitors will occupy more than 48,000 square meters of exhibition space gross (20,000 net), again making the show bigger than ever. The SuperYacht Pavilion at METS has so far expanded from 50 exhibitors last year to 60 for 2007 but is expected to grow to 75 over the next few months.

“We are delighted with the swift take-up,” says Irene Dros, Product Manager METS. “We try to please all exhibitors and we’ve given everyone as much space as possible. I know some companies would have liked larger stands – a big compliment to METS that we truly appreciate - but it’s been a tough balancing act. Interest is at an all-time high.”

Exhibitor confidence is paramount. “We get high marks in our visitor surveys but exhibitor feed-back is the real test,” she continues. “Although, as a team, we feel the event strengthens year by year, they tell us how successful METS really is.”

This year, METS celebrates its 20th anniversary. “With a strong line-up of top industry exhibitors, extra show features and a very special birthday party, we are confident that METS 2007 will be a show to remember.”
