Yacht support company Versilia Supply Service (VSS) exhibited at the METS, which came to an end yesterday. With offices based in Livorno as well as Viareggio, VSS supply superyachts with anything they may need in a fast, efficient and reliable way. SuperYacht Times spoke to Marketing Director Andrea Raffagnagi , Sales manager Stefano Tomei and CEO, Giuliano Tomei in regards to the importance of the METS show for their company earlier today.
Although having participated at METS several years ago, 2014 is the first time in almost a decade that VSS have decided to once again exhibit their brand. Irrespective of the break, the company are happy to be back in Amsterdam, this time presenting a brand new application.
The new technical alpha version of My VSS will be delivered to a select number of customers in the near future in order for tests. Over 100,000 commodities have been uploaded on its online archive, and the team at METS assured us that big improvements had been made. The App features new graphics, new search engine, the possibility to save your own products list for future orders, quotes and custom items with the fewest clicks. Raffagnagi comments, “We give only the best price to our clients and we’re trying to give them the best service that is possible. In addition, on the application is connected in real-time with our software.”
Concluding METS, Tomei states, “We had a lot of interest at the show this year and it’s good to be back. Everybody knows about our new applications and they have asked us plenty of questions about it.”
METS 2014 was held at the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre from 18th to 20th November.
