The 32nd annual Miami Yacht Show is getting ready to open its doors to visitors between 13-17th February. With more than 400 yachts and superyachts on display across three marina sites, the show will welcome around 32,000 visitors from far and wide to downtown Miami at One Herald Plaza this year. Produced by Informa Markets, which co-owns the show alongside the International Yacht Broker's Association (IYBA), Miami Yacht Show 2020 is set to be better than ever and will feature exclusive events, luxury exhibits and brand-new hospitality and dining experiences for visitors. Here, we take a look at everything you don't want to miss at Miami Yacht Show this year.Photo: Forest johnsonFirst off, the 60-acre display will include a 67,000 square-foot on-land pavilion space accommodating more than 200 exhibitors showcasing the latest in marine accessories, as well as showcasing 15 new yachts on display, including the US debut of the 85-metre SilverYachts superyacht Bold. Delivered to her owner last summer, Bold has the accolade of being both the largest and newest superyacht to appear at Miami Yacht Show 2020.

In addition, as well as a dedicated ground shuttle to and from the Brightline, the show will also offer private yacht tenders linking the north and south sides to its SuperYacht Miami site at Island Gardens. New for 2020, water taxis will shuttle guests between Miami Yacht Show and the Miami International Boat Show on Virginia Key, enabling guests to make the most of their time at both events.Photo: Forest johnsonNotably too, SuperYacht Miami, located on Island Gardens Deep Harbour on Watson Island, will also be transformed into an exclusive destination for this year's event and will feature 60 yachts on display.
The show's hours have also been expanded for 2020, allowing visitors to enjoy taking in the sunset from the docks. Opening hours are Thursday, February 13 - Sunday, February 16 from 10am-7pm and Monday, February 17 from 10am - 5pm.Photo: Forest johnsonAlso new for 2020 is the naming of the Miami Yacht Show and the concurrent Miami International Boat Show within the joint event of "Miami Boating Week", with joint admission tickets available for both shows online. Together, these shows represent the largest marine showcase in the world, thanks to the over 2,000 boats which make their appearance and the 130,000 boating and marine enthusiasts who make the trip to Miami from around the globe each year.
Photo: Forest johnsonOf course, the experience of any yacht show is about so much more than just the boats, and the 2020 Miami Yacht Show will not disappoint, thanks, in part, to the addition of two floating cocktail lounges - one on the south and one on the north side - which offer guests panoramic water views. Foodwise, amongst of plethora of options, an upscale dining experience will be offered within the main exhibition pavilion and includes an open bar, gourmet food and happy hours featuring mixologists, wine tastings and much more.Photo: Forest johnsonThe show will also display an impressive array of supercars through its auto showcase. Art lovers are also in for a treat as Art Wynwood, a contemporary and modern art fair produced by Art Miami, also runs concurrently with the Miami Yacht Show and is located just steps away from the show.
