With the 2016 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show just a few weeks away, organisers have revealed more details regarding the upcoming Monaco Yacht Summit, scheduled to be held on the day prior to the opening of the Show. Designed to inform and guide prospective clients through their decision making process when it comes to chartering or purchasing a superyacht, the Monaco Yacht Summit will share unbiased information about the yachting industry delivered in an intimate and focused format to a delegation of selected guests.
Headed by six distinguished speakers from the yachting industry, the Summit will consist of three independent workshops. The Charter workshop will explore the advantages of chartering a yacht either as a new experience or before investing in a vessel. The experts will also explain the realistic expectations of opening up a private yacht to commercial activity.
The Purchase & Finance workshop lays the course on yacht selection, financing and legal considerations with a focus on the real benefits of a yacht purchase, whilst the Management workshop will delve into the topics of crew and yacht management, refit and insurance, and berthing considerations.
Speakers include Freddy Desplanques, Malcolm Jacotine, Ken Judge, Xavier Lamadrid, Dan Lenard and Robb Mass.
