Mondomarine have unveiled an exciting new explorer vessel named Mondo45. The naval architecture and exterior design is by the yard in collaboration with Sergio Cutolo. The Mondo45 measures 45.05 metres with an 8.80 metres beam, stretching over four decks.
The project came forth from an owner’s desire to experience the sea in any conditions in full comfort. The yard is noted for building the 50-metre expedition vessel Tribu, the first explorer yacht to obtain the Green Star certification from RINA, for yachts that minimise their environmental impact thanks to the latest generation plants and systems.
She can reach a maximum speed of 15 knots and carry 80,000 litres of fuel, offering a range of 6,000 miles, at this range a trip around the world would only require three fuel stops.
Inside she offers large socialising areas, and much attention was paid to the distribution of space and clever use of lighting aboard. She features a series of large sliding glass doors that give continuity to the spaces, where interior and exterior meet.
