New exterior design images have been unveiled of the 72-metre superyacht Moonflower 72. First announced in May 2022, construction of the Nauta Design project is well underway at the Wider Superyacht Hub in Porto Marghera, Venice, with new renderings showing her expansive exterior areas.
Moonflower 72 features interior and exterior design by Nauta Yachts, with naval architecture by Francesco Rogantin. She is characterised by crisp and uncluttered lines and an innovative beach club arrangement. Her streamlined design is reminiscent of a knife blade slicing through the water combined with organic contours, chamfered folds and balanced volume.
“The style language behind Moonflower 72 is typical of our design philosophy at Nauta,” explained co-founder Mario Pedol. “An imposing steel and aluminium superyacht equipped with the latest generation of the Wider serial hybrid propulsion system, the exterior design is based on the holistic and balanced combination of style and comfort with pure, elegant lines and a harmonious connection between exterior and interior. There are no fussy or superfluous details that might interrupt the close relationship with nature and the marine environment.”

A key design feature of Moonflower 72 is her revolutionary beach club concept patented by Nauta Design. The expandable aft deck features fold-down platforms that extend the swim platform and beach club to 117 square-metres. 
This single walk-around space allows guests direct access to the water and also furthers her philosophy of creating a balance between indoor and outdoor spaces, so that guests can freely walk around the aft perimeter of the yacht.
