He was left paralysed from the chest down ending a 13 year professional career that had taken him all over the world. Worse still, he had no insurance which impacted on the treatment available to him. Once home he then underwent 100 days of hospitalisation and rehabilitation. In actual fact, the average length of the current in-build yachts in Turkey is 49 meters, with many of these yachts being motor yachts and motor-sailors as well as gulets.
