Breaking: 110m Jubilee relaunched after major refit in Hamburg

Following much anticipation since the 110-metre Oceanco arrived in Hamburg in March 2019, the 110-metre motor yacht Jubilee refit is nearing completion at Lürssen after the vessel was relaunched after 16 months undercover. Jubilee reemerged baring the same signature colour scheme that the yacht was finished in since her launch in 2017.  Jubilee yacht relaunch in HamburgPhoto: Christian Hinneberg

The full scope of the project’s works remains unknown but from these first images, it is clear that Jubilee received a newly-designed transom arrangement along with an upper aft deck that now extends the usable space out onto a reinforced split-level deck that before purely added to the elongated aesthetics of the yacht's decks.Jubilee yacht relaunch in HamburgPhoto: Christian Hinneberg

Burgess and Lürssen announced in March last year that the vessel is to undergo a comprehensive yearlong refurbishment following the sale of Jubilee to her current owners in November 2018 - a deal carried out by Burgess. Burgess Technical Services project managed the intensive refit and has been involved in the project since its inception for the yacht’s original owner. Jubilee was launched at Oceanco in 2017 and changed ownership in 2018 in the largest superyacht brokerage sale of that year. She is the design work of Lobanov Design and Sam Sorgiovanni who are responsible for her original exterior and interior designs respectively. Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture worked on the vessel’s naval architecture and she operates with a permanent crew of 40.Jubilee yacht relaunch in HamburgPhoto: Christian Hinneberg
