Turkish yard AvA Yachts has announced the launch of the first in its series of contemporary explorer yachts from its facility in Antalya: the 33.6-metre Kando 110 Kando. The Kando series consists of the Kando 90, 110, 120 and 130 models, with a second 110 currently in build and expected to debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2020 after being sold to NBA basketball star Tony Parker last year. Photo: AvA YachtsMotor yacht Kando has a high-grade steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with a volume of 320 GT, a maximum speed of 14 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots thanks to her Volvo-Penta Commercial Marine Engines. Photo: AvA YachtsWith naval architecture, exteriors and interiors all completed by Ava Yachts' in-house team, Kando has a four-deck arrangement, with an accommodation layout offering five double guest cabins for up to 10 guests.Photo: AvA YachtsThe full-beam 27-square-metre owner's master suite is located forward on the main deck and features full-height windows. A crew of up to seven is also accommodated for on board across five cabins.
