The presentation took place at the Tuscan seaside resort of Forte dei Marmi at the Forté In showroom, a company active in the world of luxury Italian furniture and a close collaborator of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/58" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Luca Dini Design & Architecture (Company)">Luca Dini</a>’s.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/250149/image/large-86c73a808db9f18b215a6d593fdd82a7.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/250149">The choice of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/58" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Luca Dini Design & Architecture (Company)">Luca Dini Design &amp; Architecture</a> for the interior styling brings additional pedigree and Italian flair to the project. Suave and sophisticated but also welcoming and family-friendly, the colour palette in the main saloon and dining room, which take advantage of the full 9.6-metre beam, is based on aquamarine and ivory soft furnishings combined with warm wood veneers, natural leathers and full-height windows for exceptional light and panoramic views. Punchy blue fabrics are used in the sky lounge on the upper deck. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/272679/image/large-f426f340c4125f202b1dd0f4245d202c.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/272679">The <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/58" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Luca Dini Design & Architecture (Company)">Luca Dini</a> studio brought along various material samples that appear onboard the yacht and project leader Silvia Margutti pointed out the contrasting veneers comprising almond-toned oak, darker oak, teak, eucalyptus and rosewood, with both satin and glossy finishes. These are paired with soft tan leather by Foglizzo, custom wardrobe handles engineered by the shipyard, Invisible Grey, Jolie Grey, Fiore di Pesco and Ombra di Caravaggio marbles. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/272678/image/large-d615976b62249d4a4aabf4ba2e1fd388.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/272678">“In the bathrooms we wanted to have glass partitions that offered transparency combined with a degree or privacy, so we’ve introduced a special textured and etched glass that lets plenty of light in but you don’t feel like you’re on display,” said Margutti, who describes the overall interior style as “audacious classic.”<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/272681/image/large-135052bf95cb26d55059a0660051b1d2.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/272681">In the bathrooms the taps are by Gessi and recall the Charleston era of the 1920s with a modern twist, while the shower controls, also by Gessi, have an analogue feel with ratcheted knobs and push buttons like a high-fidelity audio set-up from the 70s or 80s. The changes mean that Project Venus shares only the same technical and engineering specifications with her predecessors in the series. A noteworthy addition is the “shark tooth” motif, a design feature halfway along the side of the bridge deck that lends the yacht a powerful personality.
