MYS Exclusive: The top 10 must see yachts at MYS

With the 25th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show kicking off today, the editorial team of SuperYacht Times presents a roundup of 10 of the most exciting must see superyachts at this years event.

Romea

Built by Abeking & Rasmussen and delivered to her owner in June this summer, Romea is the second largest superyacht present at the Monaco Yacht Show this year. Measuring 81.80 metres, she features both interior and exterior design by Terence Disdale who also designed her sistership, Kibo. She accommodates 12 guests on board, with features including two cinemas; one in the main salon, and another outside on bridge deck aft, and a spa saloon on the upper deck. She will be located at Pontons Flottants, berth T40 during the show.

Ann G

Measuring 49.60 metres, Ann G is another brand new superyacht at this years show that was completed earlier in 2015. Built by Heesen Yachts, the fully custom steel and aluminium vessel features designs from Clifford Denn, with Reymond Langton creating her interior spaces. Coming in under the 500 GT threshold, she is powered by two MTU 8V 4000 M63 diesel engines, giving her a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,000 nm at 12 knots. She will be located at Pontons Flottants, berth T35.

Ester III

Completed by Lürssen Yachts towards the end of 2014, the 66 metre Ester III has been designed by Espen Oeino and has a distinctly masculine appearance as specified by the owner, demonstrated in characteristics such as her near vertical bow and sharp angled surfaces. Reymond Langton also undertook her interior design who created a chic, opulent atmosphere. She will be located at T Central, berth T06.

Yalla

The CRN superyacht Yalla will also be one of the largest vessels on display in Monaco this year, measuring 73 metres in length. Launched in 2014, she has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and is based on the Italian shipyard's first 13 metre wide naval platform. Amongst her many notable features is an impressive wellness area on the lower deck, incorporating the beach club and a swimming pool. She will be located at Quai Rainier III, berth D01.

Atlante

Completed earlier this year by CRN and delivered to her new owner only last month, SuperYacht Times revealed the first two photographs of Atlante yesterday. Measuring 55 metres, the steel and aluminium vessel features exterior design by Nuvolari & Lenard who has created a strong and defined profile. She boasts high volumes and large entertainment areas spread over her five decks.

Suerte

Delivered to her owners within the last few weeks, the 69 metre Suerte was built by the Italian shipyard Tankoa Yachts, featuring naval architecture by Ruggiero, whilst the renowned Francesco Paszkowski undertook her exterior design. Suerte comprises of 1,400 Gross Tons and is constructed with a high tensile steel fore section. She will be located at T Central, berth T05.

Irimari

Featuring naval architecture and exterior design by Espen Oeino and interior design by Focus Yacht Design, the 63.10 metre superyacht Irimari was completed by Turkish shipyard Sunrise Yachts earlier this year. On board she accommodates up to 12 guests over six staterooms, as well as a crew of 18, and boasts spacious, luxurious living spaces. She will be located at T Central, berth T07.

Madame Kate

The latest Amels Limited Editions 199 to come from the Dutch shipyard Amels, Madame Kate measures 60 metres in length and was delivered in May this year. Her exterior was painted using a special pearlescent effect paint, and is a sistership to superyacht Event, both designed by Tim Heywood. Constructed in steel and aluminium with a GT of 1,075, she accommodates up to 12 guests as well as a crew of 15. She will be located at T Central, berth T10.

Silver Fast

Built by the Australian shipyard Silver Yachts, the 77.10 metre all aluminium superyacht Silver Fast will be the third biggest yacht present in Monaco this week. Launched in March, she features naval architecture and exterior design by Espen Oeino, and is the fourth yacht to be launched by Silver Yachts since 2007. She will be located at the Quai Rainier IER, berth R01.

Okto

The 66.40 metre Okto was the last yacht to be delivered by the Italian shipyard ISA Yachts. Okto, which is designed by Andrea Vallicelli, features interior design by the late Alberto Pinto and can accommodate 12 guests in total and 17 crew. She will be located at Quai Rainier IER, berth R04.
