NCP completes refit of Heesen’s Ladyship

After a successful six-month refit, the 41 metre luxury motor yacht Ladyship left the NCP Repair Shipyard in Sibenik. The Heesen build superyacht was delivered to the owner on the contractual delivery date, to mutual satisfaction.

Apart from regular annual maintenance, which included; service of two 2,560hp MTU diesel engines , checking the shafts and replacement of the shaft and rudder bearings, tanks cleaning and checking their thickness and monitoring of hull, a new exhaust system of the generator was set up, as well as a significant portion of piping systems.

Some of the interior work, done by NCP employees, included; new steps for the passage from the salon on the upper and lower decks, renewed carpentry in the crew cabins and set a new floor covering in corridors. In NCP's workshops, in cooperation with Marine Electronics Center, all the navigational and communication devices on Ladyship have been restored and networked.

The major work on Ladyship consisted in overall painting of the hull and superstructure that was successfully executed in NCP Sibenik. Ladyship is the first jointly and successfully realized project of NCP in cooperation with the British company International Superyacht Coating (ISC). ISC is a company with 30 - years of experience in the field of megayacht coating and painting. This recognised British company is worldwide known partner in the new buildings and reconstruction.

Before the arrival to NCP, M/Y Ladyship was berthed in Bar, on the Montenegrin coast, but thanks to a positive experience during a longer stay of the ship in Mandalina, the owner and crew of Ladyship announced an upcoming visit to the Croatia’s first dedicated megayacht marina - Mandalina Marina & Yacht Club
