In her final stages of construction and preparing for her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show, the first hull of the Columbus 40M Sport Hybrid series has now been listed for sale with Jimmy Broddesson at SuperYachtsLondon with an asking price of € 16,500,000.
Having just visited the shipyard and inspected the yacht, Jimmy comments, “I have been involved in this project since the first sketches and it’s really great to see the yacht nearing completion now. The shipyard is on schedule to launch her in the coming weeks and I am convinced that she will be one of the stars at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show”.
Designed by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tec Naval Architecture, the all-aluminium displacement superyacht measures 40 metres and has a beam of 8.20 metres. The yacht features a diesel electric hybrid propulsion system, with the intention of having a minimal impact on the environment and she has a range of 5,000 nm. When delivered, the yacht will comply with latest IMO MARPOL regulations and will be equipped with a bilge water separator even though this is not requested by class.
Inside, the Columbus 40M Sport Hybrid will feature a modern interior by Hot Lab, and she will offer accommodation up to 8 guests, in three guest cabins on the lower deck, and a large owner’s suite on the main deck.
“The yacht’s owner has been very involved with the interior and exterior of the superyacht. And while the owner is extremely pleased with the project, he decided to make the yacht available for sale as he is already thinking about his next superyacht project”, concludes Jimmy.
The new yacht will be attending the Monaco Yacht Show, where clients will be able to visit her at the Kennedy Quay.
