The latest yacht to confirm their participation is the largest sloop in the world at over 75m LOA, Mirabella V. Mirabella V was designed by Ron Holland and launched out of VT Shipbuilding in the UK in 2006 and has clocked up many thousands of sea-miles since her debut at the Superyacht Cup Antigua in December of the same year. Mirabella V and her guests will be fully joining in the spirit of the event but will be sailing non-competitively against the rest of the fleet.

Unfortunately the J class yacht Hanuman has had to pull out of the event at the last moment, but a top-class competitive cross-section of superyacths will be lining up for the first race on January 27th; Ranger, P2, Rebecca, Sojana and Visione. Many famous names in yachting are flying in to race these beautiful superyachts and enjoy the social events at this fun and relaxed Caribbean regatta. A Cocktail Party will welcome all the owners, sponsors, guests and crew to the event on Wednesday at the Admiral's Inn in Nelson's Dockyard.

The sponsors of The Superyacht Cup Antigua 2010 are Slam, Wayfarer Marine, Pantaenius, Perini Navi, Newport Shipyard, Atollvic Shipyard and Antigua Rigging. The event is being run in conjunction with the Antigua and Barbuda National Parks Authority and under the burgee of the Antigua Yacht Club.
