Parisian studio MUB Design has revealed their latest 120-metre superyacht concept. Named Rorqual, her designer states he drew inspiration for her lines from whales, the largest living animals on the planet, aiming for a “symbiosis between gigantism and slender curves”. She accommodates up to 14 guests on board as well as a crew of 30.
Her interior is a mixture of classic and contemporary style, with felted furniture and the utilisation of materials such as walnut, marble, copper and brass. Stand out features include several Jacuzzis, a spa, gym, and a dance floor with DJ podium overlooking the beach club. Rorqual also has the ability to host a range of toys and tenders on board, including jet skis, a submarine and plenty of inflatables. Performance wise, she will be powered by four 4,830hp MTU engines, providing her with a top speed of 21 knots.
