Dutch yacht brand Vanquish Yachts has announced the design of a new sports yacht concept: the VQ90 Veloce. This innovative motor yacht concept, with an overall length of 27.40 metres, is designed to become one of the ten fastest vessels in the world.
Featuring a cutting-edge exterior design by Vanquish Yachts in partnership with designer Guido de Groot as well as naval architecture by Studio Delta, this new all-aluminium vessel has a maximum beam of 7.2 metre and a displacement of 60 tons. Four different interior design layouts have been devised to accommodate up to 10 guests and optimum acoustic insulation ensure maximum comfort. The galley of this vessel will be designed by top Swiss chef Rene Schudel. A panorama hardtop with a targa sunroof as well a large open deck area provide the right setting for al fresco amenities.
Three MTU 16V 2000 engines enable this motor yacht to reach a top speed limit of more than 55 knots. A second version of this vessel is available with less powerful engines, however still providing a speed limit of 40 knots.
