During the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show, Italian shipbuilder Wider revealed a 41-metre all-aluminium superyacht concept: Wider 135. Since then, the builder has confirmed that construction of the new superyacht will begin in June 2020 on speculation. Centro Stile, Wider's exterior styling department, designed a modern yet dynamic yacht that maintains a close connection to the sea. Tiziano Giovannetti from Wider commented: “One of our main goals is to achieve a completely electric propulsion system without the actual limitations in range and speed and we will do this in five years’ time”.
