Dutch shipyard Amels has announced the successful delivery of the latest Limited Edition 180 superyacht, the 55-metre Eji, one week ahead of schedule.
Following her sale this February , and her March launch, Eji has been under construction at the Amels yard in Vlissingen, The Netherlands.
Christian Power, the owner’s representative during the build and captain of Eji, reported that “the vessel performed very well. We didn’t have any issues at all. We managed to get the sea trials done in 1 day.”
Featuring a folding balcony within the owner’s stateroom for en-suite al fresco dining, Eji also has two balconies adjacent to her main salon and a 28-metre enlarged sun deck. Measuring a whopping 180 square metres, the sun deck also features a 7-person jacuzzi. Tim Heywood designed the exterior of Eji and the rest of the Amels 180 series. Additionally, her interiors have been designed by Laura Sessa. Eji accommodates 12 guests across her 6 cabin layout.
Powered by twin MTU 16V2000 M70 diesel engines, Eji can reach a top speed of 15.5 knots. While cruising at 13 knots, the vessel has a rather impressive range of 4,500nm.
