The Valencia-based superyacht designer, Alejandro Crespo has revealed his latest superyacht concept: an 80-metre superyacht concept called Sunset. Sunset is an 80-metre, four-deck superyacht with a 13-metre beam which can accommodate up to 16 guests on board, as well as up to 30 crewmembers across generous crew quarters (including ensuite cabins). A helicopter pad is positioned at the bow and has a diameter of 9-metres.
As evident from the renderings, Sunset has strong and graceful exterior lines, with an open and airy appearance. Her smoked glass windows are incorporated into the design to make her appear to be lower in height.
The indoor and outdoor spaces on board this 80-metre motor yacht are designed to be in a perfect balance for the maximum comfort of both guests and owner. The boat is painted an in ivory cream gel coat with a pearl finish to enable her to fit in naturally with her surroundings.
Cleverly too, there are glass openings on the hardtop of the superstructure which are integrated with sunshades and deploy themselves automatically throughout the day as they are needed. Full height windows on the main deck bring in vast amounts of natural light to the interior and blur the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces.
On the main deck, Sunset has multiple al fresco dining options that can welcome 12 guests easily and expansive deck-areas that easily convert from lounging into party mode. Naturally, she also features a 7-by-3 metre swimming pool with concealed LED lighting. As well as a generous lounge area, the opposite side of the main deck is equipped with sunbeds, offering guests a variety of relaxation options on board.
The entertainment areas located on the upper aft deck maintain a fine line between practicality and style. The sundeck incorporates an indoor gym and an exterior deck area that offers outstanding views. Openings on the floor are designed to bring more natural light onto the main deck and bring an extraordinary touch of light to the sundeck. Snuggle into ultra-soft bedding on board on the sundeck to enjoy the nighttime views and to sunbathe during the daytime.
The aft section is dedicated to a spacious beach club. A variety of flooring materials can be found which elegantly define the space. The massive beach club bar offers the ideal space for unforgettable parties on board. The bar also combines a spa pool with a cosy nook aft for more private drinks and a secondary lounge area, with design details which are both fluid and balanced evident throughout.
As can be seen from the renderings, the pool leads to a spa area on both sides with glass sliding door entrances. The spa area is spacious and incorporates a sauna, Turkish bath and a jacuzzi. The bottom of the main deck pool leads to an unusual view of the beach club area from the ceiling.
Furthermore, there are two glass panels that contain running water incorporated into the back of the sundeck area, creating the feeling of a waterfall on board and maintaining a genuine connection with the ocean surroundings. Balconies can be found on both sides of the beach club that enable guests and owners to enjoy panoramic views, leading to an open and airy environment on board.
