New additions to sales division at Northrop and Johnson

Northrop and Johnson Luxury Collection is pleased to welcome the addition of David Roscow, Gregg Morton and Sue Fewster to the Sales Team.

David Roscow joins the Northrop and Johnson Luxury Collection Sales Team as a broker with over 25 years of experience in the yachting industry. Initially a boat owner and charter captain in the Caribbean, he began his illustrious yacht sales career in South Florida in the early 1980’s. In 1987, David joined Fraser Yachts and relocated to San Diego, California where he enjoyed tremendous advancement in worldwide yacht sales. By 1999 he was promoted to Managing Director, overseeing four of Fraser’s West Coast offices, and making him instrumental in the reorganization and subsequent growth of the company’s overall profitability and success. In 2000, David established San Diego YachtFest, a unique venue for the emerging superyacht market on the west coast, and served as chairman of this growing annual event through 2005. He maintains a U.S. Coast Guard Masters License, holds a broker’s license in both Florida and California, and is a member of various prestigious maritime organizations.

David is thrilled with the opportunity to enjoy continued success at Northrop and Johnson. His yachting experience from a business and sales perspective; along with his unparallel customer service skills, make him adept at matching a perspective owner to the quintessential vessel.

Gregg Morton, a San Diego native and 22-year veteran of the yachting industry, has also joined Northrop and Johnson Luxury Collection’s Sales Team as a broker. Gregg was raised sailing boats from the age of four. By the age of eight, Gregg was sailing competitively in the San Diego Yacht Club Jr. Sailing Program. Within a few years he was winning in both national and international events. By adulthood, he headed several offshore racing programs and became a licensed captain of large sailing and motor yachts. In 2004, Gregg successfully transitioned from yacht captain to yacht sales by joining Merrill Stevens Yachts.

Gregg is excited to bring his love for the sea and yachting to Northrop and Johnson. Drawing from a wealth of experience in the yachting industry, Gregg is considerably skilled at meeting the needs of today’s sophisticated yacht clientele.

Sue Fewster has joined Northrop and Johnson Luxury Collection as the West Coast Administrator. Originally from the Northern England, Sue obtained a degree in Education, and through her rewarding career, she rose to be Vice Principal of a large primary school in England. In 1991, she relocated to the United States where she entered the yachting industry with Fraser Yachts. Within 2 years she was promoted to be the West Coast Administrator and Controller managing all the HR functions, accounting, office logistics, broker support, marketing, and boat closings for four offices, 20 brokers, and 10 office personnel. As part of the management team at Fraser Yachts, she was instrumental in the shaping and growth of the company’s incremental revenues and professional client services. Sue’s maritime experience also includes the management of Gold Coast Anchorage Marina. In 2005, Sue opened and operated an office in San Diego for Merrill Stevens. She brings over 16 years of wide-ranging experience and knowledge of broker companies, owners, captains, crew, and service providers in the luxury yacht market.

As one of the finest administrators in the yachting industry, Sue is eager to utilize her broad yachting experience from an operations perspective to assist the Northrop and Johnson Luxury Collection Sales Team in meeting the needs of both local and international clientele.

Based out of San Diego, David Roscow, Gregg Morton and Sue Fewster, will join the Fort Lauderdale-based full yacht service location and draw from Northrop and Johnson’s expanded network of offices in the U.S. and Europe, utilizing their extensive resources to assist clients with their yachting decisions providing confidentiality, integrity, and unparalleled dedication.
