Alucarsol BV started their new facility in Zwartsluis, the Netherlands, by setting up a well equipped workshop with experienced and fully certified specialists for building aluminium hulls and superstructures. Alucarsol’s first project, the hull of a 54.5 metre aluminium Vitters sailing yacht, is almost finished. The hull is built to ABS and MCA specifications.
Alucarsol does not compromise on quality in its facility, work force or work scheduling. Located in Zwartsluis, The Netherlands, Alucarsol has a complete new facility with a state-of-the-art workshop. The highly skilled and experienced production team is the main factor of success for proven high quality, eye for detail and an extremely short delivery time.
Besides building hulls and superstructures Alucarsol also focuses on specials in aluminium or steel. As an example the keel and aluminium rudder for the classic sailing yacht will be delivered as well from the new Alucarsol facility. Furthermore all sole bearers and system foundations will be incorporated in the hull as part of the agreement with Vitters Shipyard concerning a complete outfitting of the aluminium hull.
Alucarsol is located next to the water so hulls and superstructures can be easily transported through the water or by pontoon. Hoisting facilities outside are available up to 200 tons. The shed itself is fully insulated and fitted with heating and air extraction systems and measures 60 metres in length and 30 metres in width. The height under the overhead cranes is 10 metres.
Meanwhile the second project of Alucarsol, which started in May 2009, is under construction. This aluminium superstructure of over 20 tons will be delivered later this year.
