A new yacht brand called GX Superyachts has been unveiled at the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/224" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Monaco Yacht Show - 2024">Monaco Yacht Show</a> in Port Hercule. Throughout this time, full hotel systems including aircon run off the batteries without the need to fire up a generator. Consequently, the vessel is free of noise, vibration or smell from combustion.Construction of the first 42-metre GX42 is underway, as the keel laying ceremony took place on 1 June 2024, and more than 50 percent of her hull has already been welded. The yacht is due to be delivered to her owner in 2026. During the press conference, Mangusta highlighted that their extensive research into glazed surfaces and strategic technical modifications have eliminated barriers across all decks.&nbsp;This ensures a lifestyle experience typically found on larger 60-metre yachts. The design prioritises seamless visual integration between indoor and outdoor spaces, with the main deck being a prime example. The Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez race got off to a promising start yesterday as the maxi fleet embarked on the opening races of the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7139" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="International Maxi Association (IMA) (Company)">International Maxi Association</a>’s 2024 Mediterranean Maxi Inshore Challenge. Guests can also enjoy a fully equipped gym and a serene spa area, complete with a steam shower, hammam, mud bath, sauna, and hydromassage hot tub. The refit further introduced a new beach club with an extended swim platform, offering easy access to water activities.
