The teams at Dutch shipyards Damen and Amels have developed a fully enclosed hangar for the 67 metre superyacht, Sea Axe 6711. The shipyard’s developed the technical area for serious superyacht helicopter operations in response to feedback from a client.
The LY3 / MCA fully certified hangar shelters up to the size of a Eurocopter AS365. The helicopter emerges through opening doors, and a platform lift mechanism supports a take-off weight of 5,000 kg.
