New identity for Van Oossanen

Business

Dutch naval architecture studio Van Oossanen have revealed a new identity under which they will operate. Known before as van Oossanen Naval Architects, they company have now condensed their corporate identity to Van Oossanen alone. The new operational structure is reflected in the company’s new logo, displaying their three specialised services clearly.

Business will be conducted under the Van Oossanen Group name, which includes their independent Fluid Dynamics, Naval Architecture, and Hull Vane BV operations. This shift comes as part of the company’s increased activity for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in the commercial shipping market, a specialised service which will operate independently within the company. Van Oossanen describes CFD as a ‘virtual towing tank’ and has revolutionised the way tank testing can be conducted in the superyacht and commercial shipping markets.

Hull VaneBV, the under water fuel saving device by the same name, is already operating as an independent sister company of Van Oossanen.
