<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/963" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Johnson Yachts (Company)">Johnson Yachts</a> have released the first rendering of their new flagship, the Johnson 115, which they have confirmed is in build. &nbsp;&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/46552/image/large-beca4abe1bf14bc015a9b6041d677db5.JPG" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/46552">A new yacht, a new hull and a new tri-deck design - the Johnson 115 is the 35-metre answer to requests for larger vessels. “In recent years, we have been getting quite a few enquiries about building tri-deck superyachts,”&nbsp; said Andy Huang, president of Johnson Yachts. “It’s time for us to come up with a stunning new breed of yacht that will fascinate the world.” &nbsp;&nbsp;Designed by Johnson’s in-house design team together with Bill Dixon of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/223" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Dixon Yacht Design (Company)">Dixon Yacht Design</a>, the yacht’s hull has a voluminous forward section as a result of the high freeboard and straight bow. Her tri-deck profile features large windows preserved by inlaid bulwarks. Inside, the Johnson 115 can accommodate guests in five or six staterooms, all of which have ‘high-levels of customisation available’. Known for their large-superyacht interiors, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/329" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Design Unlimited (Company)">Design Unlimited</a> have created the interior layout and as with all Johnson yachts, the furnishings are built to the owners’ discretion and specification.&nbsp;The superyacht has an open and social layout with areas such as a saloon opening out onto the afterdeck, a forward dining area, sky lounge, a versatile foredeck area and a beach club aft. The transom garage also reveals a beach club for superyacht-style entertainment and can accommodate both the 5-metre and 5.5-metre tenders.Johnson Yachts are to reveal more details about the new flagship at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, and SYT will report as more news is released.&nbsp;

France-based builder <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/416" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ocea (Company)">OCEA</a> has announced that the fourth hull in the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/416" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ocea (Company)">OCEA</a> Commuter 108 yacht series is nearing completion. The hull of the 60-metre superyacht Feadship 713 has been spotted in transit from the Feadship De Vries Group <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5058" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Scheepswerf Slob (Company)">Scheepswerf Slob</a> facility in Papendrecht near Rotterdam. Produced by UK-based Insensys, the system is based on three rotating carbon fibre masts capable of deploying up to 2,396 square-metres of sail.
