Following the shipyard’s recent relocation, the restructuring of the business and the expansion of their production facilities, British shipyard Oyster Yachts has announced the appointment of Jane Wilkinson as new Head of Marketing and Simon Haynes as the Finance Director.Commenting on the new appointments and location, Oyster CEO David Tydeman says, “The relocation of the Oyster headquarters to our long established Shipyard in Southampton creates a simpler structure than our previous operating model of out-sourced sub-contracting. The hull of the 60-metre superyacht Feadship 713 has been spotted in transit from the Feadship De Vries Group <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5058" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Scheepswerf Slob (Company)">Scheepswerf Slob</a> facility in Papendrecht near Rotterdam. The French electrical and electromechanical services company <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7171" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Yachtelec (Company)">Yachtelec</a> has been acquired by the ship repair and maintenance group AMARIX, the owner of MACOR and ETI Services companies.
