After over 20 years at the helm of CCS Yacht Coating Services, Joop Ellenbroek today announces that the companies’ shares have been purchased by Paul J. Bournas, effectively changing the companies’ ownership.
Effective immediately Joop Ellenbroek will assume a technical role within the company, providing his technical knowledge to the company and supporting the new owner with his vast know-how. In addition, Joop Ellenbroek will continue to represent CCS during seminars & conferences, specific (highly technical) projects and litigation and arbitration work.
“I’m excited that the future of CCS is bright now that Paul J. Bournas has taken the reigns. His business acumen is excellent and I have no doubt that his expertise, personality and experience will enable CCS to reach new heights”, Joop Ellenbroek commented.
Paul J. Bournas brings with him two decades of experience in the coatings & chemicals industry after successful stints in commercial and general management roles at Den Braven Sealants, EcoTherm and Van Wijhe. His experience also includes stints as Managing Director for Sigma Coatings in Poland, Hong Kong and London.
He is no stranger to the yachting world either having sailed at the highest competitive level for many years.
“I am looking forward to meeting the challenges that lie ahead to ensure continuity and positive growth for the company and am genuinely excited in operating in a market that truly fascinates me” Paul commented upon his appointment.
In February and March 2014 Joop Ellenbroek will introduce Paul Bournas to the company’s clients in the country markets where CCS is currently active.
