U.S. based MarineMax has recently announced the sale of a new Ocean Alexander 100 superyacht. Designed by Evan K. Marshall, the 30.57 metre motor yacht accommodates up to eight guests over four en-suite cabins.
James Corts of MarineMax states that the clients searched for the ideal yacht for almost a year before deciding on the Ocean Alexander 100, with finding a yacht suitable for the whole family an important factor. He says, “The fully enclosed Skylounge was the deciding factor, they really like that they could operate the vessel in comfort no matter what the weather brings. This configuration also frees up space on the main deck for a forward lounge and desk area.”
She is powered by twin CAT C-32 ACERT engines, providing her with a top speed of 23.5 knots. At a speed of 10 knots she has a range of 3,133 nm.
Corts adds, “My clients intend to make extensive use of their new Ocean Alexander 100. With the highly efficient hull and 4,000 gallon fuel capacity, they will be able to reach distant ports in luxurious comfort and style.”
