Moonen’s 30.48-metre superyacht, Mrs D, has been sold. Having been on the market for just over two months, the expedition-style superyacht was sold with Axel Douqué of the Y.CO sales team having represented the seller and Cornelius Gerling at Edmiston & Company introducing the buyer.
The Dutch shipyard delivered Mrs D to her original owners in 2013, who custom-built the long distance explorer superyacht with Vripack Naval Architects. To fulfil the owner’s desire to travel the world in style and comfort, Mrs D has been designed with high levels of fuel efficiency which give her a range of 5,000 nm at 10 knots. The hull shape, bulbous bow, weight-saving measures, and highly efficient propellers and engines also reduce costs and minimise the yacht’s environmental impact.
Three large staterooms can accommodate up to six guests onboard, including the owners’ full-beam stateroom on the lower deck, which features a spacious bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. When in search of entertainment or relaxation, guests can enjoy the superyacht’s sofas, sunbeds, wet bar, sauna and jacuzzi located either flybridge forward of the mast, starboard side, or aft of the mast. Tenders and toys are also stored aft of the mast to avoid interfering the owners and guests enjoyment of the facilities on this deck.
