The Overmarine Group has announced the sale of a second Mangusta GranSport 45, with delivery expected in 2020. The 45-metre superyacht was sold to a repeat Mangusta client who intends to use the fast displacement yacht for both Mediterranean and longer-range cruising.Photo: Overmarine GroupThe yacht features in-house naval architecture by the Overmarine Group in collaboration with PierLuigi Ausonio and was designed by Alberto Mancini with a contemporary Italian style and a simple and adaptable layout, with accommodation for up to 10 guests possible across five staterooms and she can sleep up to seven crew in four cabins. Lots of detail has gone into the outdoor areas on board the GranSport 45 with an effort to merge these seamlessly with the indoor spaces.
Standout features on board include a central lounge on the upper deck opening onto the stern and the forward sundeck which features a seven-person Jacuzzi and lounge area with sunbeds. The GranSport 45 also features a 75-square-metre beach area thanks to the garage placed further forward and two terraces rotating from the side bulwarks.
The Mangusta GranSport 45 has a transoceanic range of 3,500 nautical miles when cruising at 11 knots, and she can reach up to 26 knots thanks to her four MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines which give her a total 10,400hp.
