New renderings of 70m Sunrise Yachts project Zenith

New-Build

Currently under construction at Turkish shipyard Sunrise Yachts’ facility in Antalya, is the 70m superyacht project Zenith. The yacht is a collaboration between the yard, designer Andrea Vallicelli & C, interior designer Focus Yacht Design, and naval architects Mulder Design and Unique Yacht Design. When launched in the summer of 2017, the yacht will become the yard’s largest build to date, at 1,320 GT.

Naval architects Frank Mulder of Mulder Design and Unique Yacht Design were commissioned to design an ambitious yacht that would demand attention in every port she visits, with a defined and athletic appearance by exterior designer Andrea Vallicelli.

Mulder’s fast displacement hull was applied used, giving a displacement load of 1000 tons and a top speed of 18 knots. Following the withdrawal from Staluppi from the project, a new propulsion package has been considered to meet current industry demands, and have resulted in an extension from the 68m performance orientated project Skyfall, to the 70m project Zenith now available for sale.

The guest living areas by Focus Yacht Design is designed across four decks, with the final layout to be decided by the future owner. Developed layouts include a large sundeck with sunbathing area and Jacuzzi, and an al fresco dining area with a bar. On the upper deck forward is a private terrace for the owner, with direct access to the heli pad located on the foredeck.

On main deck aft is a large sunbathing area with swimming pool and open air lounge.

The interior design was styled as an elegant yet functional environment, with a mix between formal and informal areas. Main salon features a conventional layout with a stylish lounge area and dining table for 12 guests.

A grand forward-facing master suite sets the tone for all guest cabins, which can be luxuriously decorated using the owner’s choice of fabrics and materials.

An expansive beach area at water level can be transformed in the ultimate chill spot, with large hull-openings allowing natural light to illuminate the fitness and wellness area, which includes a gym, massage room and sauna. A large lounge is perfect for escaping other guest areas and enjoy the views at water level.

The project is currently for sale, and offers clients a rare opportunity to own a custom superyacht with an expedited delivery time of only 24 months.
