Northrop and Johnson Luxury Collection has announced the addition of Captain Paul Daubner as a sales broker in the West Coast, San Diego office. Paul has 20 years experience in the marine industry and brings a wealth of knowledge to the full-service yacht brokerage company.
A yacht and charter captain for over 15 years, Paul navigated through the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, as well as the Caribbean and South China Seas. Commanding a fleet of charter yachts added to his expertise in the industry. He served as the West Coast Azimut Service, Technical Superintendent and Project Manager, and provided yacht management services for some of the largest yachts on the West Coast.
Paul’s specialization in marine engineering, design and maintenance lead him to an interest in yacht brokerage. In 2006, Paul joined Fraser Yachts California as a sales broker where he was very successful in finding the perfect vessel for his clients.
By earning the respect of his peers in the yachting industry for his reliability and expertise, Paul was voted President of the San Diego Superyacht Association. The new organization is now working to promote San Diego as a mega and super yacht destination. He continues to work closely with the members who represent various companies servicing the yachting industry – including member company Northrop and Johnson, represented by broker David Roscow.
With a U.S. Coast Guard Masters License, a broker’s license in California and as a member of several prestigious maritime organizations, Paul is considered an expert in the yachting industry. Paul is excited to work with his new esteemed colleagues at Northrop and Johnson and looks forward to continued success in the yachting industry.
