New Sinot-designed Feadship superyacht concept Zen

Written by Charl van Rooy

Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design and custom luxury yacht builder Feadship have teamed up again, this time, to create a revolutionary fully-developed superyacht concept. The 80-metre Zen is the result of both companies’ vision for the future and based on their collaborative experiences over the years combined with the shared vision of one experienced client.

The need for an abundance of onboard spaces was addressed by the client’s experiences of spending a large part of the day only in a select few areas on board, regardless of the size of the yacht and complexity of the layout. Sinot therefore eliminated this ‘unused’ deck spaces and concentrated the owner’s areas over two decks.

It is the belief of Henk de Vries that it should be offered to markets in a cost-effective way,” explains Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design. “The yacht incorporates unique design features such as the magnificent inside-out space experience, typical of the Sinot design philosophy.”

An extraordinary use of glass creates an indoor experience like never before in a panoramic stern lounge where guests can enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of this unique onboard space. A total of 12 guests and 21 crew members will be accommodated onboard Zen.

Accommodation is located forward on the main deck where Sinot has one again implemented full height windows and for an exceptional view to the outside world. The entire yacht is designed to be built using aluminium and is estimated to comprise of a volume just shy of 2,000 GT.
